Dozens took to the streets for Bristol’s first Kill The Bill protest in seven months, demanding justice for those imprisoned and awaiting trial for their role in the March 21, 2021 riot.
Five weeks after the much criticised Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act came into force in England, a protest will be held to demand the release of those imprisoned following the Bridewell police station protest of March 21, 2021.
XR Bristol’s “Bristol on Board” campaign, under which the group is demanding more affordable public transport whilst supporting the fight against Bristol Airport expansion.
The protest continues XR’s long standing opposition to Bristol Airport expansion whilst simultaneously calling for affordable bus fares and public ownership of public transport.
Hong Kongers living in Bristol gathered on College Green for a mass demonstration against the ongoing interference of China in Hong Kong’s self-governance.
It was an amazing day of pride celebrations for the city.
