Reverend Sue Parfitt has been found guilty of obstruction of the highway in a trial lasting almost eight hours.  The reverend, a veteren activist who is no stranger to the dock, was arrested for the offence last December during a joint action between XR Bristol, XR Peace, and Christian Climate Action to blockade the Ministry of Defence (MoD) site in Abbeywood, Filton. Bristol Just Stop Oil activists found guilty

Two Bristolians have been charged at Westminster Magistrates’ Court for their role in a Just Stop Oil action in Holborn, London, on October 21, 2022.  One of the two charged was Reverend Sue Parfitt, 80, a veteran activist who has been arrested multiple times with Just Stop Oil, Insulate Britain, Extinction Rebellion and other groups.
